Overpriced MP3 players - far better models available from other manufacturers.

Just like any other "Designer" item.

You know what, every now and again I like to own a little bit of style, so every now and again I buy myself something that a little design thought has gone into rather than some unimaginative lump of plastic.

I like my iPod - it cost about £20 more than the alternative would have done at the time. My music collection has grown in the 3 years since I bought it so, for Christmas, I'm going to buy myself another MP3 player and, guess what, its going to be another iPod!:D

The iPod was a success for a reason. Ergonomic design, clever marketing and simplicity in use. Plus the massive 3rd party support for it makes it the most sensible purchase for your everyday user.

I've yet to use the iPhone though.

Maybe I'll drive a Japanese motor or a Skoda m8 (you know the ones that arent all that stylish but yet come tops in reliability surveys)

Ipod - can we say ....... battery problems , screen problems , hard drive problems , flash memory problems .

Nearly all those problems are a thing of the past. I've never had any trouble and I've owned 4.

The other brands also suffer from reliability problems, except Apple's are accentuated by the fact is sells about 90 times more than its nearest rival.
