Irish Lottery - A few questions

Hi there,
I have never played the Irish lottery before and would like to ask if anyone here has as I have a few questions.
- I am based in England and have a UK passport - Can I still play if I am not an Irish citizen?
Also, can anyone confirm the actual official website. I am assuming it is this one: https://www.lottery.ie/

Yes you can, I've been playing for years, usually go to Ladbrokes to do it but since lockdown I play on line and have had a few good wins. Good luck

If you're playing via Ladbrokes, are you actually playing the Irish Lottery itself or are you betting which numbers will be drawn ? 
(if you see what I mean - presumably the money you pay is a bet which Ladbrokes take and none of it goes to the Irish Lottery?)

It looks like you are placing a bet with ladbrookes on the result. Not on the lottery itself. You can do up to 5 numbers. The actually lottery is 6 numbers plus bonus
