Dfw Mot.

Options
Just followed Martin's advice to use Council MOT centres for the 2nd year running & again, it passed with no work necessary. Cost - £40. Not bad for a 9 year old Escort diesel.
Also had a DFW Dentist appointment this morning, ie, "Nothing wrong, see you in 6 months."
Now, if it comes in threes, what's next?

  • Any chance you can link me to the bit about council MOT centres? Have searched but think I'm missing it.

My MOT is due in January and cos I've only been on a DMP for a few months I don't have anywhere near enough to sort it. Have my road tax to pay in December. Wish I could do without a car but with shifts and childcare I don't have a chance...

Current balance: approx £17500 including Tax Credit Overpayment

Estimated DFD: never - deficit budget. Cheers HMRC!

Another year over and we're still together. It's not always easy, but I'm here forever
