Flipping the issue around on its head

Hi all
I have a few threads on here, but had a bit of a think yesterday. Bear with me.
I'm married, both of us 44, with a 5yr old and 3 yr old. When I first posted my 1st thread it was with a hope that we would be mortgage free by 50. Then children came along.
Currently, we still have £68k on the mortgage to go.
Jobs have changed. I work for a supermarket, wife was made redundant and eventually got a job as a classroom assistant - term time. This helps with the kids during the summer holidays and unexpected global pandemics, but means when she doesn't work, she doesn't get paid.
Since 2015 I was supplementing our wages with surveys (swagbucks, prolific, etc) but this was to raise enough to pay the bills, and hopefully give us some extra cash to overpay the mortgage. Just recently its drying up - pre-pandemic. I am earning approx £150 a month, this month looks dreadful though.
So, I was looking at flipping everything. If I cannot earn £150-200 extra, can I save it on my direct debits?
Any advice/hints/tips on how to attack these during the current climate?
