proof of deposit and bank statements

Hi
I will be looking to buy a house in maybe 3 months time or slightly longer.
I have deposit money saved away in NS&I premium bonds + natwest help to buy isa and cash in my current account.
If i transfer all the money to my current account will the lender / broker / solicitor ask for proof of transfers?
Or potentially do this now so the deposit shows up in the last 3 months statements?

Why are you wanting to transfer the money into your current account?
What they mean by proof of deposit will be a statement from NS&I confirming the monies are in your name, and you have been paying in/contributing to your premium bond. Usually three months of statements will be sufficient, but the solicitors will outline that when you get to that stage. If you move the money from your HTB ISA then you'll also lose your 25% government bonus on what you have in there.
Regardless of whether or not you transfer the monies to the current account or leave them where they are, they'll request around 3-6 months worth of statements to prove that the money isn't coming from a bad place (ie fraudulent).0 -
If all the accounts are in your name it doesn't matter when you transfer money between them. The funds don't all need to be in one account now (or ever). If transfers are within whatever period they're checking then yes they'll need to see all the relevant statements to check the funds did come from one of your accounts.

Leave the money where it is until you need to move it. If you need to provide proof of funds simply print off statements and use those.
Given the current circumstances your purchase may be delayed or even not take place so don't move too early.0 -
sjc93 - my mistake, i'll be keeping the money in the help to buy isa.
so i'll keep my money where it is, which includes shares that i will sell on hargreaves landsdown come deposit transfer time. Will they just ask for last 3-6 months of transactions on hargreaves landsdown, NS&I and bank account statements?

Just keep them all for the meantime.0
