Urgent advice needed! Complicated mortgage application gone wrong!

So my parents are divorcing and my dad is remortgaging the house so he can give my mum her share to buy a new house for herself. The house she has found is 258,000 and she is getting 190,000 from my dad (his mortgage offer has been accepted, my mum has not got the money from him yet, this has been a very slow process on my dads end his solicitors have been very slow). When my mum decided on her mortgage with the mortgage advisor in the estate agents they decided to take into consideration broker fees, solicitors fees etc and take that off the 190,000 that my mum will be getting so technically my mum will be paying 184,000 for the house and taking out a 74,000 mortgage and using the 6000 for fees so she doesn’t have to use her savings. Last week my mums mortgage advisor contacted my mum and asked if she wanted to put her mortgage application forward as the estate agents is being furloughed the following week so if she doesn’t do it now she won’t be able to do it until the lockdown is over. My mum said yes as she now knows my dads offer has been accepted. So the mortgage advisor put my mums application forward which has been accepted but now the solicitors and brokers are contacting my mum to pay the fees as the application is moving along so my mum is having to use her own money to pay these fees rather than the money from my dad (the 6000 that she planned to use to cover these fees) as my dad still has not got the money yet it can take weeks. So I am looking for some advice about what is going to happen to that extra 6000 that’s been put onto my mums mortgage as she is having to pay the fees from her own pocket now? She has tried to contact the mortgage advisor but of course she isn’t going to reply she is furloughed so we don’t not expect a response so the only other person my mum has been able to contact is the solicitor and she is awaiting a reply. Would be great if someone could make sense of all of this as my mum is already stressed as she’s never done this on her own and I am trying to help her as much as I can but I’ve got no experience in buying homes and she’s trying to juggle all of this on top of working as a nurse during this pandemic. Thank you!

When the money comes in from your dad it will just replenish the savings?

But My mum has taken out a bigger mortgage as she has taken 6000 away from the 190,000 to cover fees which means her mortgage is 74,000 instead of it being 68,000 (if she used the full 190,000) so what will happen to 6000? Can she change her mortgage amount to 68,00 0 then if she ends up paying all her fees with her own money as it will take weeks for my dads money to come in

She wants a mortgage of £68000
She expects costs to be £6000
    She has spent £6,000
    Mortgage will be £74,000.
Solicitor will be sending £68,000 to the vendor and the difference will be put in mums bank account and replenish her savings.
