Recommendations for boy's name

Hi Everyone,
I know that this is a strange thing to do, but does anyone have any ideas of boy's names? Our second son is due at the end of June and we still haven't been able to settle on a name.
We want to find a name that portrays the surprise of his arrival (completely unexpected after a real struggle to conceive the first one) and the fact that our life has been such a struggle recently but he has kept fighting. We also don't want to use something such as 'Tiger' or 'Fighter'.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try potential names at different ages and in different roles. No one wants a name that's sweet on a toddler, but embarrassing when he's older.I was given a diminutive, rather than the full name. I don't like it.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)2 -
Lots of "baby name" books and websites give the "meaning" of the name - pick a normal name with a meaning you find appropriate.2

Felix - means happy
David means beloved.
im sur you will come up with your own decision though! Sometimes you just need to see your baby first.

Make sure it sounds good with the surname.Check that the initials of all the names you give him don't make an embarrassing word.4

I agree with pollypenny, a person is a child for a short time, you don't want a 'cute' name! Could you narrow it down to what first letter you like ? Ethan, Callan, Anders, Oscar, Remo and Owen all mean strong! Congratulations though, how exciting and June is the best time to be born !1

Dont know if this post is actually serious or not but if you are considering calling your child Tiger or Fighter I would think again.
A name will not indicate their strength however how you bring them up will most certainly help develop their character. Probably a better way in my opinion.0 -

I like Theo, apparently means divine gift.
Also Noah, I do like short names.2 -
My friend named her son Theo. It annoys me as it should really be Theodore which can then be abbreviated to Theo if and when required 😉minimad1970 said:I like Theo, apparently means divine gift.

OP just give your son a normal name that won’t scar him for life! I’m glad you’ve rejected “Tiger” but frankly that should never have even been considered!1
