Any tips of how to find ANY job during this time?

I left my job over a month ago now. Initially, I got a few responses and interviewers but then everything was put on hold. Now, I am looking for anything whether that's as a delivery person, stacking shelves or warehouse work. I came across Adecco that had a variety of jobs and emailed someone directly. Said there were two jobs that they weren't going to interview for so could start as soon as I was ready. Told them I could start ASAP but then no response. Sent a whole bunch of infomation, passport, driver license, bank details etc. to a Dominos Pizza and again nothing. Local Tesco asked for my name and number and no response.
One thing that I have come to realise is that applying online seems to be a lot of bull. Even the Adecco website, the roles I initially applied for were already filled and when I contacted the person directly, that seemed to be the only way of having a slim chance of getting the role.

As there are so many people in a similar situation to yourself, companies who are recruiting are snowed under with applications. It will take longer than normal to sift applicants, and many will probably already have the staffing levels they require. Have you tried calling Adecco.

My daughter came back from Uni last month, finished her dissertation at home, applied to Tesco last week and has been working there since Easter Monday picking for deliveries. 4am start, but she's happy to be out of the house after last 4 weeks.
Expand your search to all supermarkets, care sector and food prep/ picking. Still lots out there if you're prepared to put yourself out. And as you've been out of work for a month, if someone offers you to start ASAP say YES, not NO.Originally Posted by shortcrust

Family / friends? Not so long back a 'facebook friend' also a local business simply posted a job opportunity in one of their shops straight onto their page.
Facebook jobs can be a good place to try - both occasions for me lead somewhere.
Plus with that, you often get a company email address in the ad, rather then the having to submit your CV into the oasis.
The problem can be with online boards is that they can be capturing old ads from a company website, that can be out of date, before you even begin, but I'm not sure I believe that of every advert.

Thanks for the reply all. Below is a list of some of the places I have applied to:
Tesco
Asda
Sainsburys
Morrisons
Lidl
Dominos
Pizza Hut
Local Council (refuse collection)
On practical question I have is how do you amend your CV from a middle manager in the professional service environment to something in retail?
