    Bacon is good although I have seen it cheaper in previous weekend offers.

    I wonder how much packaging is in the box of chocolates.

    Have Lidl made a promise about reducing packaging?  Except for the cellophane wrapping I expect it will be recyclable.
    Any way it's protecting 300g chocolate.

    I think reduced packaging is taking a side line at the moment. Produce in plastic is safer than loose now and deliveries from supermarkets are all supplied in loads of plastic bags.

    As far as being concerned about the packaging in the chocolates, there is always the option when shops open again of buying from a chocolate shop who will use a single bag for whatever choccies you buy, much less harmful packaging - that is up to the conscience of the consumer which option they support as they have a choice.
