very.com - how to refund 'available to spend'

Hi,
I recently attempted to purchase a Nintendo Switch on very.com. The order originally was seen as 'Order being processed' on my account so I proceeded and paid the required £283.98 to my account. However, since then the message has changed to read 'sorry, this order has been declined'. 
How am I able to (if I am at all) receive the money now in my 'available to spend' back into my bank account? I had not used very.com before today and had not realised it was such an laborious site to use (was trying to get my hands on the sold out switch!) 
If I close the account, will this money be returned to me?

Try direct from Nintendo. 
Daughter got hers delivered next day on tuesday.

All you can with the funds is ask as they declined the transaction, you want your money back.
