Eek - just woken up to find my crown in my mouth - good job I didn't swallow it !
It's one of my canines, and the supporting post is the original tooth rather than a metal implant. I don't imagine this will be classed as a dental emergency - so is there something I can buy from a chemist to stick it back on until we are out of lockdown ?

Hi,have a google for 'toofypegs', or 'emergency dental repair'.1

Thanks - looks like it's available on line, but hope that I can find some today in a local chemist. Wouldn't be too bothered if the post was a metal implant, but as it's the (ground down) original tooth I want to avoid damaging it.0

Our dentist has an emergency/ advice service so I rang to ask if they sell the repair kits. Result is that I'm going in later for them to do it for me - on the grounds that it's a minor job now or possibly a major trauma (both physically and financially) later if the post tooth breaks and the root has to be drilled out. Phew !1
