Being Brought out by Ex Partner .. general advise ...

So me and my ex partner split up and we was in the process of medication and the only thing we need to go through was about the shared ownership of our property that we owned 25% off. She has applied and been given a mortgage to be able to take on the house and use this to start the buy out process which we have agreed in principal (  was just at the stage of getting the letters drafted for solicitors to sign to make legal binding) the only question I have really is something that I don't seem to be able to find any answers too which is as she is taking on the house and the mortgage will be cleared from the current provider where we was a joint application and now it will only be a single application what happens to this on my credit file? Does this stay on record for 6 years ... or does it come off after a year? just interested as currently renting and would like to be able to start to look at getting my own place ... if anyone has got some past experience or general advice would love to hear from them... Thanks

It will be marked as settled / satisfied and closed on your CRA, it remains on your file for 6 years but won't impact on your application as you no longer have a mortgage.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

The old mortgage will simply be part of your credit history that will progressively age away.
