I recently switched banks to First Direct , Please be aware its a nightmare trying to log on to your accounts and do basic everyday banking They have more codes and passwords [I accept about security] and also you definitely need a mobile phone with you at all times or you will not get access to your account , oh i they dont pay the £100 incentive even if you meet all the criteria its been a nightmare and i wished i had stayed were i was???

Hi @Deleted_User
is HSBC only offering desktop for 85 LTV?
we have just had offer accepted waiting valuation for 90%, but unsure if we will have to wait to physical valuation.
we could go 15% deposit but would be worried it would be a gamble. Especially if they are more scrutinizing on desktop and undervalue property0 -
Our broker submitted our full mortgage application to HSBC for 85% LTV last thursday (9th april). He then rang me on tuesday afternoon (14th) to let us know that he had an updated, the desk top valuation had been done and was fine 😊
All requested documentation has been submitted so we are just waiting now.
Hope this helps!
Good luck on your purchase 🏡1 -
@Millsey89 that is brilliant news!! We’re you advised to put down 15% rather than 10% for the desk top?
also do you bank with HSBC?
thank you0
