Hello,
I'm seeking some advice as I feel stuck in a rut right now. Nearly 2 years ago I applied to study Social Work at university and was accepted. My only problem was that I could not get tuition fees for my first year due to already studying at university for 2 years. I had a worse credit history back then but it's still not perfect and I don't know where to look to lend/ borrow the money or if there are other ways of being able to study social work without having to pay nearly £10k in tuition fees.
Would anyone have any ideas? It's been a dream to study social work and I'm hating the fact that having not enough money is what is stopping me.
Thanks

What was your first degree in? Did you complete it?
You could look at assistant social worker jobs that do not require a degree to see if you can build your career that way instead? Are there any apprenticeship positions or work/study arrangements from councils/private companies?0 -

There are very few social work assistant jobs going, I've been searching and none showed up in my area. I was researching last night and apprenticeships are apparently going to be available but never said when.0
