60% deposit new job

Hi, thanks in advance for any help. I am looking to buy a new build property (£235995) I have a deposit of 60%(£142000) to put down. Will it a problem getting a mortgage as I will am starting a new job in the new area? I will have a letter from new employer stating my new salary etc. Thanks again for any help

Affordability for the mortgage is the key criteria not the deposit. Be an idea to start the job as well. Perhaps rent initially until you know the locality better.0

Thanks for your help, probably didn't explain my situation to well, as i am selling my property i am in now to move down there, or would you still advise renting first?0
