Employer sent my P60 to wrong email address

I think my employer has sent my P60 to the wrong email address, I am worried this has put me at serious risk of identity theft as, of course, everything about me was on those documents- NI number, name, address, name and address of employers - what more would a scammer need?

I am not sure what to do, I am waiting to find out where it has been sent.

I'd wait to see where they've sent it. You might be worrying needlessly - it being sent to a wrong address didn't mean the address existed for someone else to receive or read it. 

Plus, although it would give them financial and personal information about you (financial info is sensitive), a p60 on its own is unlikely to be enough to steal your identity. I can't think of a single place that accepts p60's as proof of identity because its not an official document. I'm not saying it's not without it's risks. Just I don't think identity theft is one of them and any I can think of are limited in impact (as far as data theft goes). Maybe used in conjuction with other things (fake ID, other correspondence) it could be used to open a bank account in your name. But that would confirm your correct address I presume. 

But cross that bridge if you come to it. Wait to see where it's went first. If it has actually been sent to a live email....you can always sign up for credit alert services (and perhaps ask your employer to pay the cost) if you dont have it already.
