Wedding and Coronavirus....again!

Hi all,
Just after some advice please.
Due to get married in August 2020 with final payment due 2nd May. Received an email on 23rd March from the venue stating they were closing for 3 months from 1st April and would be back in touch in July to let us know if our wedding was still going ahead. However, to continue making any payments which were due even though there would be no one manning the phones or email so we were not to try and get in touch. We have wedding insurance, which was taken out in January, so before the coronavirus cancellations started happening. To make things a little more complicated our venue was recently in the local paper as they had sacked staff instead of furloughing them, claiming it was to ensure survival of the business. So things are looking great for them. Or us. If we don't make the final payment will this void our insurance? And, does some of the accountability lie with them as we have no way of contacting them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
