Still not heard from OR

OH had his OR interview on 21st and was told they needed more information about the car and would be sending out a form, we still haven't got anything.
, i would have thought they would send it out quickly cos isn't there a time limit that they have to make a decision about assets from when they first knew about it (6th Nov)?
OH likes to keep on top of any jobs needing doing on the vehicle and the list is starting to get longer but hes refusing to spend a penny on it until we know whats happening.
I know OH was incredibly nervous before the telephone interview and i'm wondering if he misheard and we should be sending in details anyway BUT how do we know what else they need to know without them sending the form to us? Am i worrying for nothing

There isn't a time limit as far as I'm aware. The only time limit I know of is ensuring an IPA is in place before discharge.
ORs can move slower than snails at times - our end of the deal is that we promptly respond to any correspondence they send. Be sure about this; if you owe them something, they will definitely ask for it at some point. An OR never forgets.BCSC Member 70:j

In some of the slightly older guidance to the OR's it says they have 42 days to claim the vehicle from when the OR became trustee. The more recent (but much less detailed) guidance omitts this.
The guidance where it is mentioned is here (part 31.2.25):

Wheter that guidence is still current or is relevant to your circumstances is as always difficult to assess.

Will see if anything arrives early next week and then decide whether to chase it, OH has a list building of jobs that should really be done on the car and which he would do if we were keeping it (oil change, filter, mend a slow puncture, tracking etc) but he is digging in his heels and refusing to do them until we know whats happening.
Trying to get as much of Xmas shopping and pressies done just in case we have a period of time without a vehicle and have to say have been pleasantly surprised by the number of places that accept our Co op Visa Electron card online and offline. We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -
i wouldn't push for it to be honest, that way you might get to keep your car till after xmas!!:j0
