ASDA Not Answering To Customers

Asda took £49 out of my bank account a couple of weeks ago for an order that I told them I hadn't received,I got through to a customer services agent in America who didn't understand my Scottish accent but eventually took my order number and promised me a refund which I didn't receive so a week ago I spoke to a customer services agent in the UK who also took my order number and promised to deal with my complaint however he put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then cut me off.
I also sent them an email two weeks ago and I'm still waiting on them dealing with my complaint.
So my experience of Asda's customer services has been horrendous and I'm still £49 out of pocket.

My latest ASDA home shopping refund (Sorry, cloves are not a substitiute for black peppercorns: they give your fried or poached eggs an unwanted oriental "je ne sais quoi".) was processed by them very promptly, but I'm not holding my breath until it appears on my credit card account.

Update. The credit appeared on my credit card account today. Maybe things have improved. Maybe it's because it's an ASDA cashback credit card.
