    Focus on settling the DMP as quickly as possible. Then more doors will open for you. Time heals as they say.

    I think I missed the point in my question.
    Is it correct that I may be able to get a mortgage when i finish paying it off? as when I started the DMP I was under the impression that I was un-mortgageable for 5 years upon completion?
