Food processor?

Hi
I'm looking for a food processor that doesn't break the bank. I had a form of hand blender with a lot of attachments that has been great, cost about £30 at the time, was a cooks essentials make from QVC, but over the last year some of the blades have broken and now most of it is unuseable, stick blender and whisks are still fine. I cant' find these anymore and the ones I have seen don't have as many attachments for more money or about the same.
I've been looking at a few food processors after seeing a kenwood compact type in the christmas argos brochure, but not sure if this one would be too small.
We are a family of 5 and while I will use it, I'm not sure how often it will be used yet, which is why I've never bought one before and stuck with the hand type.
I've looked at a few kenwood ones and compact will be good storage wise as I don't have much space as long as it does it's job, even if I have to blend soup in seperate batches or use hand blender.
I wondered if anyone had any recommendations, up to about the £30-£35 mark, preferably less.
The one in argos is a kenwood FP108 for £21.99 but I have looked at a 116 online too.
Hope someone can help
Thanks
Yvonne

IMO food processors tend to spend most of their life at the back of a cupboard because they are messy to clean.
The best gadget I have ever bought is my Bamix.......I know, I know, very expensive but practically unbreakable and used daily. It does everything I need it to do and I can't recommend it highly enough.
If you can manage without whilst saving up for the Bamix I'm sure you'd be better off in the long term.

Thanks, just found one on lakeland for £87.99, still more expensive than I can afford right now, but it is similar to the one I have/had. Obviously not as strong or powerful, but it's lasted me about 4+ years now and I can still use the blender, whisk and mixer. Only the blades for cutting/chopping have gone, or more the part they attach to, the plastic melted! But then I only paid about £30 for that one.

Just had a quick look on Argos site and found Breville Brushed Stainless Steel Food Processor for just under £40. I know its a bit more than you wanted to pay but it does have a 2 litre bowl capacity and the one you mentioned only has a 0.8 litre capacity.0
