Delayed Payment charge

I have been stopped from working, I am a self-employed construction worker. I contacted blackhorse to say I would like payment delay, the only choice on offer at the moment is to delay payment from the 4th of April to the 30th of April, this is for now a temporary fix, but in doing this I have been charged £84.20, for changing the date from the beginning to the end of the month, this surely can only be considered as profiteering, can anything be done about this? I have complained, but was told this was a decision by the bank

It's surely not profiteering but possibly accrued interest.
What is the payment you're looking to delay?1 -
Are you sure the figure quoted is not the interest that would normally be charged anyway?
If so they are not profiteering.
A payment delay as you call it, others might call it holiday does not suppress interest.0 -
The FCA has put proposals to banks and other lenders, requesting they reply to them by next week.0
