Equity release/non standard property

Hi have looked into Equity Release and been made an offer only problem property is non standard and they require proof of this. Believe property is Wimpey built in 1966/7 tried several avenues with no success is the only way forward a structural surveyor or is there some other way of finding out - thanks.
