There is no set timescale. If it is pending that means the computer has selected  it for review before being issued. It may be a random selection or it may triggered a marker for checking. 
Your case will be in a queue , with all the others who  are pending. It will depend on how many are  in front of you and how many staff are working in the  current situation as to when it will be cleared for issue.

Hi I did my tax refund on the 20thfeb 
it when to repayment pending on the 26th it’s been 10 weeks now I was told it would be sorted on the 30th April but just been told it’s still having additional checks an there isn’t a accurate timescale could anyone give me some advice

Did you ever receive payment? I’m in the same position, no time scale set either
