No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries April 2020

Not much going on here. Glad to hear that people are doing well. VALM - I worked part time from home for 8 years and it takes some getting used to under normal circumstances so doing it in a big rush and with a house full of people must be very difficult to settle into. I don't know how people with young children at home are managing to get any work done.

VALM that's a lovely post - and yes, I also feel that here isn't the right place for a full on discussion on the situation but equally it can't be ignored - that would be an enormous elephant in the room, let's be honest! We're both WFH - totaly alien to both of us really these days - MrEH has also had his working week reduced to 3 days so that will be hitting us financially from the end of this month. We're plenty better set to cope with it than some though - I know some of his colleagues are really concerned.
One UU - one of the little bottles of conditioner that comes with my hair colour. It never feels like it will be rich enough yet when I actually use it the results are lovely so calling that a win. Won't have any choice but to buy again - there's one in every box!
My Clinique facial soap is also on its final splutter - I'll use it tonight then that will be that done.
Take care all - step up the pampering a notch!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

One UU from this morning:
The Body Shop Shea Body Lotion 200ml - WDBA and will do in the future. I love this body lotion, helps keep my skin moisturised all day long and it absorbs quickly.
7 -
UU:
Palmers Cocoa butter exfoliating scrub - WMBA, natural ingredients and leaves skin smooth afterwards. Now trying chemical exfoliation.
Cherryblossom & olive oil soap - Would use again as does not leave my skin dry but was a gift from Portugal.8 -
A sort of uu - Origins Super Spot Remover, there was a tiny bit left but I have had it forever and don't find it that effective anyway, it is very expensive for the amount you get too, WNBA.Also got rid of the remains of a tube of Witch Doctor Skin Soothing Gel, again had it for ages and won't use the last bit.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Good to see a little stream of UU's - and I'm adding to it with the end of the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap last night. It's a nice product but not that great, I've certainly used better wash-off cleansers, will happily accept and use it as a freebie in a GWP but wouldn't - and haven't - bought the full size.
Next facial product for targeting is a Sanctuary exfoliating scrub which has been knocking about for a while - down to the last inch or so in the tube now so will make the effort to use it a couple of times a week (any more will upset my skin I suspect) to see it gone.
With the nicer weather I think I'll also start using my hint of self tanning body lotion on my legs as well - there's not a huge amount in that so reckon it might go reasonably soon.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes, that's the saving grace that I don't have school age children. It's the job itself that I'm finding difficult. I work in residential conveyancing and people still expected to move when the lockdown was first imposed. Anyway it's a long weekend. SPF on, wine poured, out in the garden. x

Nobody was buying houses. MRM is furloughed and is finding loads of jobs to do around the house so is ok for now but at first he was not so good pyschologically. He's calmed down now that he's keeping busy.Back OT. I UU a Lacura Q10 serum last night. Won't repurchase for now. Will see how my skin is without it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. VALM I am worried for the same reason - I'm in a broadly similar area of employment.
Spotted that Aldi have the Lacura Moisture Boost in stock last week by the way - but currently resisting the temptation as I still have the Simple one I bought AND a replacement Clinique one in to use!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

In new foundation and a moisturizer as a gift.
Nothing used up. It's like a never-ending basket of lotions.
