You are right moneyminded, I guess I was just expecting a better deal as im paying 1.54% /£926./month at the moment and the next best fixed deal is 1.94% at £974/month.

Why are you expecting a better deal for a fixed rate product?

My HSBC renewal rate went up from 1.69 (was 1.39)  to 1.74 in the 2 weeks since they offered it at the beginning of March. I’ve taken it incase it goes up anymore.
