Barclays mortgage savings currency question

Hello,
I am a contractor in Italy at the moment and I am usually based in Newcastle Upon Tyne where I have my residential property and I am willing to buy a buy-to-let one. I called Nationwide and when I told them that I am getting paid in Euros they rejected my application. I am aiming to Barclays now. The thing is that I am running everything through my UK limited company (taxes, salary etc.) but I am getting paid in Euros at the moment. When Barclays will ask me for proof of income, I will print out the statements in Euros and I don't know if they will reject them as well even if I running through a UK ltd as I mentioned above. Any advice/help would be much appreciated!

If you are looking for a BTL mortgage then a broker is your best option. Many lenders do not deal directly with customers.1

Income derived in a currency other than sterling can be problematic and is likely to be a case for a broker to place for you.0
