Hello all, used to be a regular comper but over the last few years I just haven't had the time. Now, like everybody else, I appear to have spare time. But I have come back and everything has changed!
So questions: 1) I used to just click on a link and it opened as a new page. Now it just seems to link so to get back to the comping page I have to press the back button. Is thre any way round this?
2) I used to be able to sort posts by end date so if I hadnt been around for a while ( tended to have more time in school holidays) I could do the ones that finished soonest first, and then go back and start on the posts that had been put up first. Is there any way of still doing this?
3)I'm glad to see the entered button is still there but if I remember there was one you could click straight from the thread title. I assume that has disappeared?
4) What's the best way to autofill these days? I used to use roboform but would rather just do it from my laptop if possible.

Hello mintymoneysaver, I'm in exactly the same position as you and wondering mainly how to sort by end date - at the moment I've come up with using the search facility and searching for example E: 01/04 to get the comps that end today.
If you use CTRL and click the link it should open the comp in a new page for you (or in my case on a Mac CMD and click the link).
Can't help with the others I'm afraid but if anyone can tells us how to sort by end date, that would be great2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £44601 -
1) If you right click on the link, you should get the "Open in a new tab" option.
2) Still no option to sort by end date, nor can you have more per page. Only option is to search by end date as Idol_Eyes suggests. I use this link and alter the date as appropriate. However, it doesn't pay to get ahead as when you search, you can't see entered / ignored in the lists view when you've searched, so have to open each thread
3) You have to open every thread from the list to click enter or ignore. Also see above.
4) I use Chrome as a browser and that has a built in autofill.
Sadly we've had quite some times pass with very little action, (Apart from some tweaking which left us without search for a week!) or any given time-scale on this, and of course now they have other priorities. I have little confidence that things will improve for us compers

Thanks for your help, I was wondering why I couldn't see what I'd entered! Really don't like this new format, but I'm sure I'll get used to it x2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £44600 -
Thanks! I am going for the end date option at the moment, as suggested, as it's the most helpful. Guess there's no point clicking entered then really, used to be really useful when you were going back through. I woulsn't have the inclination to click on every link again to see f I'd entered.I think I'll just have to aim to work a day in advance while I have the time. What a shame we seem to have taken a backwards move, as they were all great options. Thanks for your help. grannybiker!1
