CSA payments

Hello my son's company has closed due to covid 19 they are applying for the scheme where he will be paid 80% his wages.  In the meantime what does he do about paying his payments £29  a week he has no income at the moment.  Self isolated because felt unwell. With his income now being less what can he do about his CSA payments.
 Thank you stay safe all

Well presumably it would be 20% less a week. So approx £23 a week.
  • The CMs won't consider changes unless salary is reduced by 25% or more. The reality is he will be expected to pay the previously calcualted amount whilst on furlough. If he pays short due to loss popf income they will move him to pay and collect and add a 20% fee on top.

It's not 20% i dont think, but that's by the by. - edit: you're right it's 20% but 4% is taken off the amount received also.

Can he talk to his ex about it?The difference is £28 a month, which is probably manageable given that there's nowhere to spend money.
