    Meanwhile, in the real world!!!

    Whilst it might constitute a sufficiently severe breach of contract by the employer, so as to justify the employee leaving without notice, it would very much depend on the circumstances (which we haven't been told)!

    Even then, following your advice would leave the OP with no job, until he can find an alternative, plus he may well have a battle to extract anything else he is owed by the employer.

    A more sensible approach, particularly in the current climate would be to fully understand the reasons for the deductions, then assess as best you can the employer's financial position and carefully consider the realistic options.

    Keep in mind that the bonus / commission may well be "discretionary" rather than a hard and fast contractual right.
