Mushroom Kit

Does anyone know where I can buy a mushroom growing kit at a decent price? I've looked on ebay but keep getting the wrong sort of mushrooms if you know what I mean...! :eek:

Focus were selling them off at 1/2 price but that was a couple of weeks ago.
Perhaps you could give them a phone if there's one near you?

Places like Homebase, Focus and B&Q sell them for about £6. Poundstretcher has bags of spore for £2, so you would just need a container and compost or manured straw.

I've used these kits a few times now and I get loads of little black flies coming off them.

Got Mrs V one for Christmas - £4.99 in focus.

No black flies with hers - lasted about 3 & a bit crops!!

I didn't realise they were so easy to get hold of - I thought they were a bit of a specialist product. I'll get myself out searching tomorrow.

Are they easy to use and are they successful, by that I mean if you've used one, would you bother doing it again or would you just buy mushys from the supermarket?!
