14 day Cooling off period

Hi,
I recently bought into the 3 year testing term with CLC World Resorts following the free week offer. Firstly, this is not a complaint against CLC World product as we bought into this and it is what we want. The problem has now arose that due to the Covid situation, my employer has put me onto half time working hours and as a result, half time salary. My 14 day cooling off period expired on March 14th and as the above took place on March 18th. I immediately called Hitachi Finance them to ask to cancel the product as it is no longer affordable and was told to contact CLC World. Having done so for the last 7 days I finally get a response saying basically, tough luck we are not going to cancel and you need to sort it out with the finance provider. Can anyone advise if I have any grounds to progress the cancellation again with CLC World or do I have to work with the finance company to resolve this?
thanks.

The finance and the contract are two separate things. If you were able to cancel the finance, you would still need to find a way of paying for the service.
Find our what the implications of defaulting are. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it.0
