PC games for luddites

Hi all
With staying in a lot more at the current time, my version of 'Delta Force Land Warrior' is getting a bit samey !
Any PC games out there, of a similar age, similar simple usage, and able to work with my Windows 10 PC ?
Not a great fan of internet games sites like Miniclip, sorry, just my thing.

It would be single player.
Watching the guys on 'Big Bang Theory' play their multiplayer games sends me off to my Luddite friendly cave
I used to have Microsoft WW2 flight sims before I moved to Windows !0
I would also play Microprose 'Grand Prix' in the day.
Hope that makes some sense ?
I think the top ww2 combat flight sim at the moment is IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad https://store.steampowered.com/app/307960/IL2_Sturmovik_Battle_of_Stalingrad/
Microsoft are soon releasing a new normal flight sim; https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/microsoft-flight-simulator
F1 2019 is currently of the 'Humble Monthly' where you can get that game and a bunch of others for £12 and the cancel your subscription https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription
If you are into sim games, I also recommend Euro Truck Simulator 2/ American Truck Simulator https://store.steampowered.com/app/227300/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/270880/American_Truck_Simulator/
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a mooch at them.
Whilst searching for the correct spelling of Microprose, I came across this -

Luddites Nirvana !!!
Only a few days ago, I found that Windows 10 does not play games from discs, so I am desperate to have my old pc, running 7 , sorted so I can play a number of disc games, as yet unplayed. (I was testing some Windows 7 games to give to a charity and assumed either the games wouldn't play on 10 or my newer laptop was faulty, until I looked on line and found that some reckon Microsoft has blocked disc loading so people buy online downloads.
Some (albeit a very VERY small amount) PC games still have disc releases (although most physical copies just come with a steam code). But if you are trying to play older games, you may just run into compatibility issues.
The other issue you may run into is that the copy protection software they used to use, is no longer used (although there are ways around this, such as adding the drivers manually, but not recommended).
If you want to play older games, best go to Gog.
