Hi
I.did self assessment for first time last tax year - no issues with process then but limited experience
Had a quick look at .gov website and can't find anything yet for this current tax year - I get the return can't be submitted until the year is over but I seem remember applying for a code that was posted out in advance ?
Also can't find anything on deadlines for returns etc

Left is never right but I always am.

The 19/20 tax returns will be issued on 6th April, the deadline for online submission is 31st January 2021. As you already have an active self assessment account, you wouldn't need to apply for a code again.2
