Removing ex from mortgage

Hi. I would like to remove my ex from the mortgage, and I'm aware I can remortgage in my own name with his consent.
My question is, when we get divorced in a year or so (have to wait until we have been separated long enough), if the mortgage is solely in my name, will he be able to claim anything of the house at that point?

I assume that you are taking legal advice. As part of the divorce a Financial Consent order will be drawn up that in essence divides your assets and stops any future claims.0
