Is my company exploiting being a 'Key Worker' ?

The company I work for (QubeGB) provided telecommunication services to the major service providers such as BT, TalkTalk, Sky etc...
There are a variety of job types such as Total Loss of Service, Intermittent Connection, and TV Faults etc...
The Government Website states "telecommunications (including but not limited to network operations, field engineering, call centre staff, IT and data infrastructure, 999 and 111 critical services)"
I personally feel (to protect both myself and my customers) we should only be visiting essential jobs, such as those where the customer has no phone or broadband, however the company doesnt agree and say its business as usual. My main concern is that we are still getting a lot of TV Service / Installation jobs, and does this fall under the banner of a 'Telecommunications' services as outlined on the Governments website. I consider these to be non essential as the customer still has access to TV through there aerial by bypassing the TV box.
I am just concerned the company are putting profit before people and not considering the risk factor's involved for both me and my customers, and using the excuse of 'we are an essential service' to try and keep business running as normal and flout the rules.
In short - does a TV Service / Installation fall into the 'telecommunications' key workers as specified by the government?

considering we are all now relying on phones and internet for work, communications, entertainment etc i am sure it will be defined as key worker and essential work if for no other reason than maintaining social orderAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......1

Thats fine. As things continue to emerge I expect your company will need to adapt to keep everyone safe. I doubt you'll be allowed to enter the home of people that are over 70 or on the self isolation list. For others you might need to try avoid it if you can (eg discuss with the customer over the phone first and whether there's anything you can guide them to do without entering the home). Hopefully you can work with your employer to help come up with safe working practices at this time.
It's a bit too early to tell but as this week goes on you'll get more clarity as people, including customers understand, that your booking will probably need to be cancelled as it is not urgent.
On the other hand it would be good if you can continue in some way as your services could provide an improvement in people's quality of life at this time.0
