So ive now visted a property which i like twice now and considering an offer. Im looking at some articles on line which state house prices could drop by around 12% from some reports and dont want to get stung when we could have got the property cheaper. Also im hoping that rates will drop which they havent just yet. Im a first time buyer so unsure what to do.

No one can answer your question because know one has all the information.
How bad will things get, how long will banks, solicitors, surveyors be closed or off work ?
Is your job safe ?
Will house prices drop ?
