Cashing in Sharesave Early

in Cutting tax
I am nearly at the £50k threshold as PAYE in this financial year. I have a sharesave that I would like to cash in early (not yet matured). If I cash them in (today) does the tax that I have to pay go toward the tax threshold that I pay on PAYE and take me over the £50k. Obviously I dont want to go over the £50k so would wait until the next financial year if I have to.
