I have still got a valuation with NatWest going ahead tomorrow - even though the mortgage has now be declined. Surveyor still says they are coming out tomorrow.. weird. Luckily I’m not paying for it.
Perhaps the news hasn't filtered out yet.
  • Perhaps, seems odd though, little bit of me hopes that an offer just randomly comes in a week or so with all the confusion :’)

    Surveyors own welfare comes first.
  • Our surveyor is going in this afternoon to do a full homebuyer's.

But we still need Natwest to do theirs for the mortgage application. Sounds like we might be waiting a while. Do Natwest even send someone in for a valuation survey?

I’m in the same boat with NatWest- valuation booked yesterday but no idea whether the company booked to do it will go ahead or delay. Waiting to hear back from estate agent.
  • I have the same issue... NatWest saying they are struggling to get through to the estate agent (Barratt Homes) contacted Barratt to be told no contact had been made... going round in circles!
  • Countrywide instructed by NatWest rang me this morning to say they were not coming to do it due to restrictions and would rebook for 3 weeks time if restrictions are lifted. I said the mortgage had been declined but they still hadn’t been told that so who knows. Can’t reach anyone so it’s a sit tight moment now..!
