Hi All
Ive got an issue here. Im re-mortgaging from a Nationwide 2 year fixed term to a Coventry 5 year fixed term. The fixed term on the Nationwide product is due to finish on 31/03/2020. The solicitors have proposed a completion date of 24/03/2020 and have explained that Nationwide usually waive the ERC in the last month of the mortgage and that in addition Nationwide have not listed ERC on the completion statement that was supplied to the solicitors. Im still dubious as i don't want to be stung for a possible £1500 for the sake of waiting a week. However the solicitors have said if i do wait then they will have to obtain a new completion statement from Nationwide (and the last one took ages to come through) as this one is only valid to 31/03/2020. Anybody have any advice?
Thanks

Understandably Nationwide are not taking non-urgent queries at the moment.0

Nationwide waive the erc in the last month. Have done it loads of times for people. As long as you've made your March payment already then all will be fine
