Are  there any recommended apps for kids to learn finance issues? Like saving, budgeting etc  kids are 8 and 10.

One of the High Street banks had an offer for their customers, some time ago, but I haven't seen the advert for a long time.

    I use Rooster app.

It's for tracking pocket money so you put on it how much they get per week then you can put aside money for savings or to buy something.

You can also get them to do chores to earn money.

You can both have the same app.

Going old-school but Monopoly can teach children a lot- and they have an app now.
  • My kids favorite apps are coin master, pirate kings and farmville 2

Any game where they can earn or buy things to spend in game helps them learn things like that.  My two, who are around the same age as yours, both like Roblox and particularly Adopt Me within that.  One child spends her pocket money on Robux to buy extras but knows she has to make it last the whole month.  The other does things like run a lemonade stand to earn money in the game.  They can buy and sell, trade, save up for bigger and better things, quite like real life I suppose.

That's true and we can play with kids all the family together
  • Getting your kids to sell their old toys and games will help them learn about finance management. We sold our old Lego at WeBuyGames with a quick and easy process. Making money while teaching your kids was a great way for us and they pay amazing prices even just for Lego. Highly recommend as another way of helping your kids and you.
