    yes, no, who knows?  We could have hot rock bottom, or not.
    You'll need a better crystal ball then me to know the answer.

    However, if you're happy to buy now and see another drop in values, but are happy to wait whilst the market picks up again it could be a good time.

    BTW, I think this might be better posted in the Investments' section .

    depends on your risk appetite. Great to pick up low value stocks and hoping they go up in 10 years..
    Investing is a long game, not short term. 
    Gold and precious metals are a safe bet, but I think you have missed that boat now. 

    I suggest getting an IFA, but ultimately the risk is yours to take. Crystal ball time. 
    I suspect bonds are safest bet imo
