Homemade Facescrub for spots

I need a face wash or scrub for my 14 year old DD as we have run out and cant go out to get any.  I have Coconut Oil, so was going to make Coconut oil with equal amount of sugar or salt in. Is there anything I can add to help it do whats needed for spots?  I don't have any Teat Tree oil so cant use that.  I was thinking, could I put anti bac gel in it??? and if I leave out the sugar/salt could I use a squirt of hand soap to make a wash too.

Many thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

I should think scrubbing at sore, inflamed skin would only exacerbate matters.

Coconut oil causes spots, probably the worst when used as moisturiser but I wouldn't be using it at all on my face.  Plus, it's not good to wash down the drains either.

Don't use hand soap on the poor girl's face!  It's for hands, not faces!  Don't use antibacterial gel either, it's too harsh.  Honestly, if you don't know what you're doing you'd be better doing nothing.  Tea tree oil should not be used unless you really know what you're doing - it can sensitise the skin (random 'expert' beauty bloggers don't count as knowing what they're doing either).

If you must make something, if you have a gentle oil like almond oil, try that.  Olive or veg oil would be better than coconut.  I use a shop bought gentle scrub sometimes but for every day use I find a normal face cloth/flannel just as good.  Don't wet it too much and then use it to wash the face, gently!  Or you could use it with a little of her normal face wash or even a blob of moisturiser instead of water.

thank you for your comments.  The coconut oil was from a health magazine so was going to try it myself before I used anything on her, hence whilst also getting suggestion on here.   Her skin isn't at the point of being inflamed yet thankfully, shes just asked for something before it does. A Neighbour has just been out and got something for her, so no need now.
