I was in two minds about the mortgage overpayments, having been tempted to play it safe and wait more before deciding what to do, but last month I figured that I was probably letting caution get in the way of something that would wind up happening sooner or later.

So I've lumped for the full 10% now.

I think I'm glad, at least I can't spend each month now debating what the best course of action is.  It's already done and I just need to make it work.

I do need to carefully manage the credit, as a lot of it is coming due for payment next year.  I'm a bit in two minds as to whether to keep it going and try to get more 0% debt, or whether to scale it back.

Currently I feel like it would be nice to ease off a bit, because the numbers seem huge and I think some of the lenders are getting a bit nervous.  I'm also not sure whether I'll try to remortgage next year.  In theory I can, but I expect I'd have to reduce the credit quite a bit.

At least the mortgage rates seem to be quite favourable at the moment, and there are several lenders offering rates under 4% which would suit me just fine.
