We have booked for haven the end of this month (March) however I will be 35 weeks pregnant and have been told to self isolate, along with my family who are all high risk. I stupidly never took the insurance out, but where do I stand if the government is saying to limit social contact? Do we get to reschedule? Or refund?

Similar situation here. Have week in holiday cottage booked for early April. 5 of party now unable to come as stuck in Australia, 3 more of party are in high risk catagory. Gov 'advice' not to travel and maintain safe social distancing. I paid on my credit card and family gave me money, didn't get insurance and kicking myself.

Have you looked on Haven's website? They have a statement about CV-19, and I think they are getting in contact with those who are due to go on holiday soon (but it might be worth you contacting them).

  • I haven’t had any contact yet from haven, however they have put out a statement to say they are still open and won’t be closing unless gov tell them they need to. Kinda sucks that they are staying open and I get people still need to work, but places like this are breading grounds for bacteria and infections at the best of times
  • I have just been contacted via email by Haven, we have two units booked for 27th-30th March, at a cost of over 420 quid. Haven have said that they are shutting all bars, the evening showbar, the arcade and the pool will be limited to a certain number of people at a time. they have said because they are not closing the park that we can rebook later in the year or 2021, or have 25% refund. That to my mind is not good enough given the circumstances. a full refund should be on offer, they send a digital form which you have to make the decision by midday the next working day but its all yes/no... you cant leave a comment, they say the contact line is too busy to handle calls but there is no customer service contact details as an alternative........i cant change the booking to a later date as i have already booked an additional break in october. Haven say on twitter that they haven't had a case on the park so they wont close! what sort of mentality is that?? This is an absolute disgrace on the part of Haven, profiteering from chaos. Center parks have done the right thing and offered full refunds to their clients, haven should do the decent thing and do the same.....shame on them and i would love it if MSE publicly pointed them out.
  • I was offered a full refund 6 weeks ago and not had it....Martin...HEEEEEEEELP
