    To seek repossession through the courts the lender has reached the end of it's tether so to speak. Be cheaper costs wise to agree to sell up than proceed on the current course of non action. Your parents have had the time to deal with things on their own terms. 
  • Its turns out  the account is a end of term contract mortgage, they did 10 years ago, seem they missed a few payment due to illness.

    letter saying it the end of the contract with outstanding debt and few missed monthly repayments, now way to can get new deals at their ages.

    Not sure if the , March 19 mortgage/repo hoilday effect us if its the end of term contract. dont if it covers our situation.
