Buying Christmas Gifts.

I have had my bankruptcy court hearing and my telephone interview. Life can only get better now!
My main problem is that I can no longer buy gifts from the likes of Amazon, CD-Wow etc. because I no longer have a credit or debit card.
Is there a way round this or is back to postal orders?
I have found that I can buy music off iTunes by having the charge billed to my BT 'phone bill. Is this legal under the terms of my bankruptcy?

Lots of people use pre-paid cards such as cashplus, there is also a sticky at the top of the page for bank accounts for br some of which issue electron cards:A

Hi Julian, and glad things are good for you.
Concerning the Itunes, i think your ok. Your allowed upto £500 of credit (IF you can find anyone willing to let you have it)
Re: buying goods on-line, do you have a good trusted friend or family member whos card you can use? the goods will go to their house but its one way round it. I've used my daughters cards a couple of times for small things, and she doesn't charge me interest!! though i always pay upfront. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

You may occur problems with visa electron, as there main use is to be chip and pinned or signed for, although some companies use software to get around that.
Either as the other poster suggested use a friends /family or a prepaid credit card, theres a lot about so shop around as they vary on the cost of putting the top ups.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well done amigo!! Congrats on your new future!!
I would also go with trusted members of the family and see if you can pay them the cash for the stuff you need from amazon etc
Hope you enjoy your new future and have a fab xmas!!0 -
Amazon accept co-op electron
For all other purchases I use cashplus. I need to very rarely though, and I do most of my shopping online.BCSC Member 70:j
