God help the former iSupply customers, with EDF's "smart meters or we'll put you on the Standard Tariff" attitude.  What if you can't have smart meters for technical reasons?

As far as I am concerned, it is now the Big 4 as I discount EDF and Eon have swallowed nPower.  God help us all.
  • I have been switched - received the email from EDF on Tuesday asking me to log-in and set up access. However I was on the iSupply Discover Green 12 months 08v1 but the tariff quoted on the EDF account details show a different price - needless to say higher off-peak then the iSupply price.
I have contacted a rather dim customer service rep at EDF who has promised to 'correct this' - we shall see.
My advice - check the new tariff you are being forced onto. Their publicity assured us there would be no changes.

I'm in the process of being transferred.  My tarriff is V7.2. The EDF version is exactly the same price. However, I will be switching supplier in August when my contract is up.

If you dont like your new tariff then switch. Check which tariff you have been put on and make sure that it's still suitable. Just another penny an kwh on your leccy or gas tariff can make a big difference come the end of the year.

Don't be like those on other threads where customers have just let the swap go through and then discovered that their energy bills have gone up by silly amounts because they didn't check and do summat about it - it's too late then
