Bankers draft

Hello I was scheduled for a hip replacement in the south of Ireland but this was cancelled due to coronavirus. This was in a private clinic and I got a bankers draft for euros with the rate being 1.09.My query is having already paid commission should I return the draft, will I lose out on more commission or will I get back the amount  I paid, or will I hold on to the draft. Thank you for your help.

I would be inclined to hold to it if you intend to use  in the future. They may be able to change the date on it if its say after 6 months??  Euro is  mid price 1.09 today so you would probably only get 1.06 today for it
