WHY WHEN I CLICK ON “DAILY COMPETITIONS THREAD” DOES IT TAKE ME TO Pge 57

It’s very annoying.  Why when I click on Daiky Competitions Thread does it go straight to page 57?  I want to go to page 1 to see the list.  How do I fix this?

When you click in to any thread it will take you to the next post after the one you last visited. You can't change this but when you click in and get to page 57, at the top or bottom of the page there is a page number list. This will have 1 at the start on the left and 57 on the right. Click on the 1 and it will take you to page 1.

Thanks, BOB, but on my I phone this isn’t the case.  I don’t see a number list and have to go back page by page and after 57 times, I lose the will to live.  How go back to page 1 on my iPhone?

On my phone (not ipad) I open up MSE THEN GO THE “COMPETITIONS TIME” then click on “Regular competitions” then click on “Daily Competition Thread” .  It opens on page 58.  If i hit the two left hand arrows sign, I go to page 57.  How do I go to page 1?

I don't use a phone for comping but I have just looked on my phone. If I use it landscape, I can see the number 1 I mentioned above but not in portrailt.
